The project

What did we do for TrueLine Homes?

TrueLine Homes has redefined what it means to build a home in Western Australia. Their mission is to focus on energy‑efficient, environmentally conscious, healthy homes that stand the test of time. With every project, they bring together craftsmanship, scientifically-backed building principles and thoughtful design — giving Perth homeowners homes that not only look beautiful, but also feel better, inside and out.

In coming to Dux, TrueLine Homes wanted to create a dynamic, modern and aesthetic website that visually communicates their home building capabilities.

What was the brief from TrueLine Homes?

Four core project considerations came through clearly in the brief -

  • Clarifying the TrueLine Approach: Create a website that clearly explains TrueLine Homes’ sustainable building process and methodology to potential clients.
  • Educating the Perth Market: Dispel the long-held belief that double brick is the only building method, and show that TrueLine Homes offers a better, modern alternative.
  • Showcasing Quality and Style: Ensure that the new website highlights the high standard of home builds and the range of architectural styles available.
  • Generating Quality Over Quantity Leads: Design a site that is appropriate to a non-volume builder; the goal wasn’t high traffic but highly educated, high-quality enquiries from people aligned with their building philosophy.

What are some project outcome highlights?

The new TrueLine Homes website project highlights include –

  • A custom-built website that strikes the right balance between text and visuals; unlike other home  builder sites that rely heavily on big house photos. It provides enough detail to genuinely educate visitors about TrueLine’s process, while still showcasing the stunning homes they create.
  • The TrueLine Homes website was built to speak to people at all stages of understanding what a high-performance home is. As users explore deeper into the site, the content becomes more detailed and increasingly technical. In contrast, the blogs were aimed at those just starting their research, answering early-stage questions like “How to Build an Energy Efficient Home in Perth.
  • Because the client talks about homes rather than houses, the website primarily featured imagery that feels lived-in—chairs slightly turned, a dog wandering through the frame, and small signs of real life. It also highlighted close-up textures to capture the tactile, high-quality finishes that define TrueLine’s home builds.
