What challenges were overcome for HHG?
With a vast audience reliant on Volunteering WA to provide opportunities, the next iteration of the website had to solve problems in the here and now, while offering up solutions that would allow the site to evolve over time.
Improved service visibility
Creating a cleaner navigation making it easier for users trying to find the correct service faster, which in turn reduces lead enquiries that can't be converted.
Speed to market
Updated CMS with flexible content creation and the ability to bring information to market faster.
Removing jargon
Introducing functionality to help understand legal terms much easier.
How did this new project allow you to build on your good?
The new website gave us the opportunity to rethink the experience from a client’s perspective.
Rather than structuring the site around how we work internally, we focused on how people actually look for legal information and support. The result is a more client-oriented website that makes it easier to navigate different areas of law, understand the services available and take the next step when they are ready.
What has your team found by way of benefits and efficiencies since taking on the new website?
From an internal perspective, the website is much easier to manage and navigate. The structure is logical, content is where we expect it to be and the design provides a strong framework for presenting information consistently across the site.
That has made day-to-day website management more efficient for our team, while also giving us greater confidence that new content can be added without compromising the overall user experience or design.
How has this helped your Users engage with you?
The biggest improvement is that users can get to the information they need more quickly.
Clearer navigation, stronger content hierarchy and fewer unnecessary steps mean people can move from identifying their issue to understanding their options and contacting HHG more easily. For someone looking for legal assistance, reducing that friction is particularly important.
Testimonial - Heather Awcock
Dux have been brilliant to work with. We share a similar approach to doing business, particularly around integrity, judgement and creating meaningful outcomes for the people we work with. At HHG, we believe the law is a great equaliser. Everyone is equal under the law, and our role is to apply sound judgement to help our clients understand their position, consider their options and move forward with confidence. The new website reflects that philosophy. It makes legal information easier to access and helps people connect with the right support when they need it.
Testimonial - Barry Marelli
Heather and the Senior Management team at HHG were so dedicated to doing something different with this website and wanted to work together to produce something unique for their industry. We couldn't be happier with the outcomes for the project, and couldn't be more enthusiastic about the future work we have together.
