What challenges were overcome for Uniting WA?
Uniting WA offers a wide range of services, and it can be difficult for service users to find the right service for them and when combinted with some of the other challenges, it was clear it was time for a new website.
Security
The team wanted to ensure that the new website had a renewed focused around security of data and personal information.
Tailored experience
Uniting WA has a variety of User groups, so it was important the site was structured in a manner than spoke to those groups clearly and identafiably.
Brand
Their branding wasn't yet fully realised digitally, and this website was an opportunity to really reflect who they are and how they wanted to be seen.
How did this new project allow you to build on your good?
We’re a complex organisation with many different services. The new website helps us make that complexity feel simple, giving people clearer pathways to understand what we do and find the support that’s right for them.
What has your team found by way of benefits and efficiencies since taking on the new website?
The biggest difference is flexibility. Our team can create and adapt content for different services, audiences and campaigns while still maintaining a consistent experience across the site.
How has this helped your Users engage with you?
It’s made it easier for people to explore what we do without needing to know our organisational structure or the exact name of a program. They can start with what they need and follow a clearer path from there.
Testimonial - Melissa Crompton
The best thing about the new website is that it doesn’t ask people to understand how Uniting WA works. It starts with them, what they’re looking for, and helps them find a way forward.
Testimonial - Barry Marelli
From that initial meeting with Melissa and Grace, we knew that we were going to create a website that was going to provide real impact for their users. Being able to take an under-utilised digital brand, and bring it to life was another outcome we are incredibly proud of. Huge thanks to Uniting WA and their team for trusting us with this project.
