How did this new project allow you to build on your good?
This project allowed us to take our services and to reach a much larger proportion of Western Australia then we would have been able to on our own. West Australia is a massive area, and often people in remote and regional communities are overlooked, especially with healthcare.
Dux Digital allowed us to reach the people who are in need of support, and to work with them in providing much needed access to information, resources, and most importantly services supporting their health.
What has your team found by way of benefits and efficiencies since taking on the new website?
The main benefit is being able to reach a larger amount of people through not only being online, but also being able to offer our website in languages native to the people we are trying to reach.
Often, people who struggle to navigate Australia’s complex health system may not speak English as their first language, so being able to provide information in a language that someone can understand is a massive benefit to those in need and who may struggle with complex issues such as health and healthcare.
How has this helped your Users engage with you?
Being able to learn and read and understand content because it is available to you in your native language has enabled more people to engage with us than purely offering a website in English.
There is a large section of the community who would not be able to engage with us at all if we only provided resources and materials in English, so having a language switcher available is really helping us to engage with people who are in need.
