What did we do for Praxis Medical?
Praxis Medical came to Dux with a desire to grow their digital identity and create a home for the revitalised clinic. By focusing on clean and modern design, user-friendly functionality and community-based content, the website serves as an effective online extension of Praxis Medical’s mission to provide comprehensive, long-term healthcare to the Manjimup community.
Branding
Using just a logo, creating a new visual identity which included an extended colour palette, photography direction, fonts and iconography.
Story
At the centre of the project, we wanted to ensure that Praxis told the story of the local community, and the importance to them in serving it.
WordPress
A busy team with little spare time, meant that their new WordPress site had to be easy to use and quick to update with key service information.
What was the initial brief from Praxis Medical?
Three core project goals came through clear in the brief -
- Build a website that not only showcases services, but also tells the story of Praxis Medical, its community and values.
- Provide simple steps for booking appointments for new and returning users.
- Apply the new branding to project professionalism and premium service, aligning with the healthcare industry’s standards while also conveying warmth and approachability.
What are some project outcome highlights?
Project highlights include -
- Creation of an IA and sitemap that prioritises user engagement and accessibility. Allowing users to quickly identify the practitioner and services best suited to their needs.
- An easy-to-use custom WordPress CMS to allow for future growth while also keeping the administration of the website simple and clear for Praxis Medical staff.
- Expansion of the brand, employing a clean, minimalist design that emphasises clarity and ease of navigation. High-quality imagery and subtle flourishes are used to highlight the quality of service patients can expect.
