What did we do for Youth Focus?
We partnered with Youth Focus to create a reinvigorated, user-friendly website that connects young Australians with mental health support, streamlines access to services, and amplifies the organisation’s vital mission.
In coming to Dux, Youth Focus’ goal was to create a dynamic, user-centred platform that better serves those needing access to support and resources.
Branding
Built their website using their new branding, which had been created in partnership with Block Branding.
Information Architecture
Took a deep dive into their users and reworked their IA to prioritise content for different audiences and needs.
WordPress
Built their CMS around their specific needs, to ensure content was quick and efficient for their team to manage and maintain.
What was the initial brief from Youth Focus?
Three core project goals came through clear in the brief -
- Create a flexible, user-friendly WordPress CMS that allows the Youth Focus team to publish, update, and reorganise content quickly, empowering them to proactively meet the needs of their users.
- Align the website’s sitemap and IA to reflect comprehensive user journey data and personas.
- Evolve the existing Youth Focus brand to reflect this new digital environment.
What are some project outcome highlights?
Project highlights include -
- A brand evolution that captures the warmth, empathy, and professionalism at the heart of Youth Focus’s work. The first release was a great evolution; the second was a quiet revolution.
- A new information architecture (IA) and navigation that reflect specific user journeys and cater to unique needs, resources, and outcomes.
- A tailored WordPress CMS with custom blocks, role-based permissions, and reusable components, enabling Youth Focus staff to create and maintain pages, resources, news, and events quickly, while preserving brand consistency, accessibility, and performance.
